Different from the Prairies

Something I have never experienced living on the flat planes of the prairies....

as we drove home from church on Sunday morning, the breeze was really strong and very cold. We looked up the hills and there was snow at the top of them and about 1/3 down the mountain, but nothing on the ground. you can tell that winter is coming because we can see the snow on the mountains. very cool.

we also celebrate Hallowe'en with fire works in the Okanagan! we're off to watch 'em. saskatchewan can only afford them twice a year.

Happy Hallowe'en! After the Fireworks:
So we went to see the fireworks and watched them uptop of Kalamalka Lake. We saw them reflecting in the lake, then we looked over and saw some more fireworks in the distance. them some more behind a hill. we were able to watch Kal's display, the BX display, and the town of Lavington's display all at once. cool.
