Anna&Alex

7 years ago when i was at camp BalChYoCa in Tallinn, Estonia there was a blond Russian girl who was working at the camp in the kitchen. An American friend started chatting with her at meals and invited her to the camp fires, and she quickly became interested in what was going on...and Anna and Karen quickly became good friends.

Karen and her family were leaving Estonia soon, so Karen asked if I could 'hang out' and 'watch out for' Anna. Am i ever glad i got to! Over the next year we became really great friends. She started coming to youth group and we started spending time together cause we lived in the same are of Lasnamae. Actually, to be more specific, we became like sisters. Yeah, that means we spent a lot of time together.

Anna moved to Canada a few years back, and unfortunately Mississauga isn't close to Regina at all! so we haven't seen each other since Estonia, but we have kept in touch.

Anna fell in love while she was in Canada - with Alex Romanov. They got married on August 18th with the wedding in Town Square in Tallinn, Eesti - Anna's hometown. We weren't at the wedding, but we sure wanted to be! they honeymooned in Italy and are back in Canada.

Congratulations Anna Romanova! we hope you and Alex are happy for many years to come!
