We have entered the Cancer Relay for Life in Vernon this weekend. There are 12 people from Coldstream Christian Church who are planning to be involved and help raise funds.
The Cancer web page says:
The Canadian Cancer Society Relay for Life is a celebration of survival and a tribute to the lives of loved ones who have been touched by cancer. Join today together with your community for 12 hours of fun, friendship and fundraising to beat cancer. (read more here)
Craig and I are raising support and participating in the relay on Saturday. If you would like to support, you can do so online through Our Relay Web Page
We know so many who have been touched by cancer personally through friends and family. It's such a huge disease that both our families have not been directly affected by, and we pray that continues. But we are out to do our part and help those who have the disease, have passed on from it, or have friends and family with it.
