Kimchi

The day finally came. I really never thought it would...

Craig bought Kimchi. to bring home. to eat. for us, not for our Korean guests.

We went to Bukpu market and he decided to buy the spicey garlic leaf kimchi for 1000won. I never thought we'd have it in our house, but he actually LIKES it and wanted to get some.

The first 20 times we tried kimchi, our bodies would shake and shiver from the sour/spicey taste. We got used to it eventually - i just didn't think craig would like it!! our bodies still convulse at the taste of it every once in awhile.

Everyone told us when we first came that we would eventually crave kimchi - guess this is the first step to finding Korean markets when we move back to Canada.

On a side note, we have been out and about at almost every sunglasses shop in Iksan. Craig needs a pair, but none seem to fit him properly. Koreans have round faces. Craig's is not. So every pair are far too wide.
Who would've thought buying sunglasses would be such a difficult task?
