Like a Little Kid again...

Craig and I went to the beach on Sunday morning while at Seonyudo. We enjoyed listening to the waves crash on the shore - so relaxing. Craig decided to look for some seashells and by the end of the day we had a great little collection. He reminisced about being with family, remembering that his Grandpa used to say he had the 'eagle eye' for find things - and he found some sweet shells. A couple has some hermit crabs in them, so he left those ones behind...or so he thought!

We got back to our hotel room to pack up and Craig discovered he had not only one shell with a crab - but two! We would have missed our ferry if he's taken them back to the beach, so he decided to keep them. We stopped in Gunsan at E-mart (like Walmart) and bought a plastic tank for $6 and some crab food. Craig named the one guy Hermes - and we can't tell you what Rachel's nicknames for both of them were...

Craig tried to save them in our tank...but alas! his pets died. nothing would save them. not even the seaweed and shrimp he fed them. yes, we have seaweed in our house. something we've never had at home.
