The other side of the Island

Since we were confined to one road to follow while 4-wheeling, we decided to 'off-road' it for awhile. Ended up at this beautiful point...

...just hoping we didn't pick up the Asian tick!

Headed back to check out the other side of the island...

Drive down the one street on the island, cross over another bridge...

...and end up on the beach!! So beautiful surrounded by mountains...

...into another village..

...someone's grave. This is the one house that was overlooking the ocean. Quite a difference from living in Vernon/Coldstream where everyone tries to have property on the water...

...picked up some firewood for the fire on the beach and headed back into town.
