Calgary

After making it back from Manitoba, Craig decided to meet up with me in Calgary. We thought we needed a weekend away as things are super busy with his internship...which is coming to a close very soon! The end of August is fast approaching, and with it brings the 27th day which is Craig's last Sunday as an intern...

My cousin offered us the use of her home while her family was still in Winnipegosis which was really great of them. But while in Calgary, we know it's never easy to be alone because there are so many friends we want to visit! Heather McMillan was the first we called and planned to meet on Saturday. Our friends Jen and Justin Mooney were holiday-ing in Calgary with Caden, so after meeting up at Ikea, we all went for dinner and back to Heather's house for a little cards and redecorating! we all pitched in and put up her bargain shelves she found at Ikea. It was so great to see them again. On Sunday we met Heather at the new Centre Street building, which is, quite frankly, similar looking to an airport. It was amazing. We seemed to have mixed feelings/opinions about the 'building' and its purpose.

Craig got to meet up with his friend Andre for lunch which left Heather and I fee to = SHOP!! it was so great to see you again, Heather. Had it seriously been 1 year?! waaaaay too long! Thanks for the good times and talks.

That ended our time in Calgary, but not our adventure....
