Cosens Bay

oh the beautiful Okanagan! we rode our bikes out to Cosens Bay...

Craig had done it before and was convinced that his wife could also...and eventually, she did! we tried to look like we 'fit in' with the rich yuppy people of Vernon/Coldstream, but i think most can tell that we're not really fitting in. But we don't care! it was a beautiful day, with a beautiful beach to swim in and cool off. the water was so clear you could see the bottom and has this awesome deep blue/green color that has made the water here famous. Yes, most water is blue/green, but you probabaly haven't seen water of this shade. Kalamalka Lake was named the top 10 lakes in the world by National Geographic - so it's pretty pretty!

You just don't get the same feelings you get here after being on a 'lake' in the prairies. that has been the best part of living in BC - the nature. so much to see and do and great little places to go to.

so, when are you coming to visit?

Hey guys, a bike ride sounds like fun, especially with the dip in the water after all that work. Man what I wouldn't give to live in BC again, one day maybe. So about my visit. I will come see you if you are still there, let's say around Aug, Sept, Oct of 2007. So when you gonna come visit me, or us? Your enticement is the beauty of the suroundings, mine is ummm... let's say a little baby. How about being an Aunt and Uncle? Sound good to you? Hehehe. Really glad though that you are enjoying God's beauty where you live, that is awesome. Keep up the biking and visiting new places, that is so much fun! Love you guys, Alicia

We miss living in Vancouver. You are right the beauty in B.C. is awesome and so much to see and do. Mind you, you have never been to Scotland, now that is where beauty is amazing! Not to mention all the castles. Great pictures!
