So our friend Tim left a comment saying that our blogs give the impression that all we do in life is travel around visiting friends and family. Well, i wish i could say it's true, but it's just not. Of course, those are the exciting times in our lives, so we write about them. how about that for profound.
So, one Friday night we decided we were staying in town for the weekend - not galavanting off to visit friends near and far - and went to the Farmer's Market. This was considered 'Date Nite' as we still try to get those in once a week...and we needed fresh produce, so what more could you ask for in a date?! PLUS!!, Craig had won a $20 gift certificate from entering his name in the draw when we went with his parents, so our date ended up being FREE!! again i ask, what more could you ask for in a date?!

We bought some great veggies as you can see in the pic. Spaghetti squash, eggplant, fresh carrots, spicy lettuce (it is spicy like hot peppers), green onions, zuccini, watermelon, and raspberry honey! What a treat as we don't usually buy such 'exotic' produce. we came home and had a great evening of steak and veggies.
So there you go, Tim. We don't always go away and visit friends. Although, if you and Tara and Elijah need some place to go...you are more than welcome in the Okanagan!

A post about vegetables.
How interesting.
You guys are so boring...
I'm kidding of course! I'm just jealous of your Okanogian vegetables that we pay big $$$ for. It also sounds like a date Tara & I went on last week, we drove around for a while, had some ice cream then went and visited the Ashby house... truly romantic stuff.
c'mon Leah - now you got me worried that I insulted you and you'll never blog again... how about a post about household chores or something? I will if you will.
