A Late Valentine Post

So our 'day of love' did happen on February 14th, i'm just a week late - that's what happens when you're on holidays!
Actually, the bouquet of flowers was given to me the Friday night before V-day. Craig had a one-on-one class, so i had gone home early. He came home, told me i couldn't look, and gave me the little yellow rose. i was happy! how sweet! it was a 'just because' rose. then i went into our room to get our vase - and there was the bouquet! what a great surprise! the yellow rose was 'service' - it was an extra given to Craig for buying the flowers.
For V-day, Craig again brought something home - but it was the day before V-day. He told me i couldn't look, and if i wanted my Valentine's Day gift i'd have to wait until midnight so it was officially V-day. we waited - and he gave me a chocolate cake with I Love You "Leah" in Korean. He went to a bakery (called Backery) near our house a week ago and somehow communicated to the baker that he wanted a cake and English words with a Korean name on it and he'd pick it up in a week. Craig went in that day to see if it was actually going to happen like he'd hoped and the cake was ready - and waiting in the display case! Definitely a great day!
But in Korea Valentine's Day is for the boys - so women should give the boys something. Craig got so much chocolate from his students that he didn't need any more from me!
Thanks for being romantic, Craig. Love you too.
